In July 1952, unidentified objects appeared on radar over the Capitol and the White House on two separate weekends. Fighter jets were scrambled. The press called it the Invasion of Washington. The Air Force's official explanation was temperature inversion. What most people don't know is that the Air Force gave a private UFO briefing to scientists at MIT's Lincoln Laboratory that same year — and a reel-to-reel recording of that briefing has been sitting in a lab archive for 74 years. Rep. Eric Burlison sent a letter demanding it and announced at Disclosure Forum 2026 that MIT has agreed to hand it over. He's also said publicly that classified UAP footage he's seen in secure briefings — including craft described as plasmoids — is increasingly compelling to him. The official 1952 explanation and the private 1952 conversation may not be the same story.
