Some stuff that's been happening over on Derek's property over there in Idaho and some of his other stories as well. Derek reached out to us a little while ago via email and sent us a really awesome clip, which were, which I'm going to attempt to put on a front of this episode. So hopefully, you guys were able to hear that. That is the clip that Derek's it's into us. If not, then you're just not going to hear it and nobody's going to get this entire episode. That's okay. So, first things first In your email to us, you said that you've had a couple different paranormal experiences with experiences in your life, but I really would love to start off with this, this audio. Can you give us the backstory of this audio first? I just want to hear what?

5:57 What? What brought you outside to start recording this man. How long did it go for? Oh, it was like end of September beginning of October in 2020 and maybe 2019. I'm not sure the year Booker sitting out by the fire pit. September 8, the 2020 according to Katie nice. My wife we were sitting out by our fire pit and then I started getting dark so it's time to come inside to get ready for the kids to go to The kid to go to bed and everything and I heard like the dogs on all the properties, just going crazy and I like what's going on.

6:41 So I opened up the door and I was listening for a little bit and all of a sudden scream and like guttural. Yell that I've never heard up here before. And so I pulled out my phone and then, and you can hear the horses, and I've never heard the horses going crazy. We've heard coyotes and other animals around here, too, but it's never made the horses. Has go crazy like that but upon listening to it and everything like you can hear my kid. He says Dad, I'm scared and it's just, I don't know. And we've done a lot of research to like of the local animals. Like the Cougars Bobcats and what their screams and calls sound like but nothing honestly. Sounds like what I've heard of here That is some crazy shit man.

7:26 So your best guess you mind putting it out there. What do you think this is? I honestly I honestly think it might be a Bigfoot big feet. So when you said guttural yell I sit in here. I got the goose bumps because I was telling Jeremy right before this. I play I played it on my, my sound system in here and just, you know, crank it all the way up. And I told him I was like, that is exactly what I heard out when I was camping in Northern California. We're out there and it was We heard the tree knocking everything like that and as like, I have this huge game, if I call, if I ran into a Bigfoot, I would run out there and, you know, and, you know, get a fistful of hair or something like that. Whatever, right, whatever I'd say that circumstance. But dude, I didn't breathe for, like, 10 minutes. I'm sure of it.

8:23 He was the tree knocking all around, all the adults, the next morning, they're all like, oh my gosh, did you hear that? Like everyone heard it and then the campsites were spaced out by like You know, maybe a quarter to a half mile or whatever is basically if you could get into the area you could camp there. So they had, you know, a 70 degree incline, you drive your truck up into, right to get into these spots, but we could hear the people partying down the creek because it's all echoey and stuff and you could hear them out there, screaming hooting hollering, you know, they're drinking it up and then all this activity started and they just shut up over there and it was the loudest deepest yell I've ever heard and it was just fun. Out into the woods and echoing and stuff. And all these knocking all around us and everything. And these guys are here.

9:11 Shut up and turn off their music and stuff. They're all freaked out. And I heard your video and I was just like, that is exactly what I heard. Like it was crazy. And then I found this massive footprint right behind my tent that we put up on our Facebook group right behind it nuts. Absolutely. Yeah. It's not sand, like I've never believed in Bigfoot and everything, but it's like, oh, could be just be old wives tale, But like after hearing that, I'm like, I have no idea what the hell that was. It was Bigfoot, don't worry. So give me.

9:54 Give me a little bit of the history man. Has this ever been a thing on this property? Have you heard it since? No, that was the first time we've heard it and we had heard it since and we've talked to our neighbors and we've had a my wife showed it to a couple friends and they're just like we have no idea what the hell that could have been because of that night, that it happened. Like normally when people hear things around here, they will post on Facebook. Hey right here that or you know, booms around nobody. He posted anything on. What they heard that night. Nobody that Because nobody wanted to come out like it. Did you guys hear that Bigfoot?

10:35 Yeah. Yeah. I mean that's what I was thinking. So it's like are we supposed to hear like was that like it was terrifying but it was, you could hear it because it's Echo Wing wherever it's at. I got a supposed to-- and it's just like it was just one of those things where it's just like it's baffling. Like and it's funny because we watched a lot of like North Woods law and all that and they had a rabid Bobcat, come on. Well they didn't know it was wrapped in. My work go and it let out the scream. Like, I wonder if I could have been like a rabid Bobcat, but then you go back and replay both of them. Like no, that was not.

11:21 That was unless somebody was being stupid and had a microphone and don't you know what I mean? Like, jump something like that. Had a microphone. I'm like, but then again even though the like course the seems weird But it was just some one time, but every everything was freaked out like it was just it was weak. Here. Yeah, but I've never heard the horses behind us start going to tell like they were on that video because there's a weird. It was like, growing up and stuff, and it's like up here. I don't feel uncomfortable, like that night. Was just weird, but going into a lot of the force and Washington. I fucking do not want to the force in Washington. I hate them the couple as soon as he walked into a deep dark part of the forest you think you're going to get eaten alive by something somewhat.

It's just weird because I've been camping in those areas since I was a little kid and it's like I've never felt comfortable going into any forest and Washington because it feels like there's some presents out there. Yeah. You take a lot of the things you take a lot of here. Native American lore and history and stories that come out of the area. I know Idaho is very famous for being a Blackfoot territory. I'm not too familiar with the exact area that you guys are from, but I know that they have a lot of stories of creatures of men of the woods of screaming, spirits of coming from the woods which you know can be correlated and easily explained of by Bobcats.

13:13 And you know it doesn't necessarily have to be a rabid Bobcat. I've heard a Screen in the woods. I've heard of bobcats scream shoot 20 feet away from me before. They're allowed its it sucks. I mean, Fox is also also make a pretty gnarly sound too. What does the fox say? It doesn't. If you listen to the video. One thing that I found, that was absolutely just amazing was, was a different layers of sounds and the different bodies of voices that are out there. There. And I say, voices, just because I'm trying to differentiate between the different sounds. You have a really high pitch scream which could be you know, it could be a bobcat then you had that very low guttural yell that is something that's not necessarily made by an unknown creature of the woods.

14:03 You know, that's something that's a little bit different. Then you have as you say in the video you hear the horses neighing. There's a lot of really interesting stuff coming from this. So Do you know anything about the area is there is their history in your area, a Bigfoot? Sightings is this? Have you guys looked into this at all? Once I started listening to you, when you were telling, you said something about the BFRO researching on the internet, I went in and I went to that website and I typed in for a went or County and everything, and I found a couple that are kind of like to the east of us but nothing really in our area that I could find. You should submit that video to them. You should.

When we were recording on the other platform, your kind of talk a little bit about your history and your beliefs and Bigfoot, do you kind of, do you mind kind of reiterating that a little bit and telling us a little A bit about your history and your focus on the subject just so that we can make sure we get that recorded. No, that's fine. I don't like this in my mom. Always, she grew up with a Sci-Fi, not sports stuff and we've always talked about, you know, UFOs. Like we're not only, we're not the only people here. Like we, we literally always talked about stuff growing up and becoming up, was like one of those weird things but then again, it's like, every time I would go on a road trip from Wyoming to organ or Washington. I would look at it was like, I'm going to see something that I'm not going to know what it is just because of how my mom, like my dad, like were Christian, Believers and all that, but it's like my mom instilled in me that we're not alone stuff out there, but the we can just fly it.

16:51 Like there is absolutely stuff. We cannot explain like I was telling you about the woods and Washington and stuff. It's like, I would visit my tells all the time and she had a party and it Would back up a line, you know, someone's I don't know exactly what Forrester was but literally it was black like I would not I as soon as you cross that tree line I did not feel safe even as a child I don't feel safe. I will not feel safe going in there as an adult. Like you just, it's a mirror. It's a weird feeling you get, I guess. And it's like, when we went camping because we might, we used to have yearly events in Washington, as Which was the called will come away, Skookum away this time. And here's the stuff and they and you know, all the horses stuff around those it was a played play like your sin or they have your to know that you can rent out all that but as soon as I walked into the forest, I love doing photography.

17:51 So I go out and take pictures and I walk out there and I bought a certain amount and I'm like, I'm done like you just get that Eerie uncomfortable feeling where it's just You don't feel comfortable being out there because you know, something's other. So if that makes sense, why did you scare the living shit. I just want to talk a little bit about the Skookum title because Skookum is a very hot topic word inside of the Bigfoot Community. Now, there is a very, very popular famous cast, called the Skookum cast Which is it, it's a cast of an entire body of Bigfoot laying on its side and you know some people will try to say that.

18:41 No, this is a deer and they could point out the thin forearm of the deer on the cast itself and some people look at it and they're like yeah you know, I can definitely see the ass cheek of a Bigfoot and and see it reaching and Skookum is actually the word. Is it originates from Canada, actually kid, just to throw that out there. There for you. I don't know what tribal musume it comes from a tribe but it actually means strong, big and excellent and a lot of places that are just that are recorded as you know in the title of the place as Skookum goes along with a lot of the places that are also have devil in the word are in the term like Devils Lake Devil's Ridge, has Devil's Mountain and everything like that.

Salmon salmon. Well fish, duh. So that's pretty cool. That is, there's some very interesting stuff, I absolutely believe in Bigfoot. I mean, that's, that's no secret. I've talked about that all the time on my show. Derek, what about you, man?

20:18 What's your history? And your beliefs on the big hairy man in the woods? Honestly, like I can't I would have these discussions watching all the Bigfoot shows it's like yeah. There could be something else but I like hearing that and then drive through the vast expanse of forest and watched him, like there has to be some near. I mean like there's so many acres of unexplored land at are just treated Leaf read. You'd be dumped and think that we're alone, We're Alone. Yeah. Have you ever flew over that area of the country Donnie Werner? It's, there's nothing out there, it's nuts. Yeah, I flew from Pax River.

But one time I actually was awake for the entire thing and went as soon as we passed over the Mississippi, it gets very very sparse. And then, of course, once you get into the Rockies, it is just insane. I mean, you can look down and be like, I think that's a road. It could. Could be a road but it's too short. It's like, it's like a like a river, maybe a creek, I don't know, but there's no, there's no like established pounds or or anything out there, man. It's just nothing. I mean, every once in a while, you'll see like a breaks in like, electrical wires, you know, like the brakes of the forest where the electrical wires will cut through.

21:48 You'll see those every once in a while more than you'll see any roads or towns or anything. It's just absolutely nuts. How much space there is out there and I think people just kind of get lost in Any idea that there's that the United States is just completely packed full and there's no no room for a Bigfoot and it's just completely wrong. That's one thing that a lot of from my experience a lot of people don't understand how much land is not being used. We there's nobody there, there's nothing going on. We haven't even crossed this portion of the land, right? Like and I've a lot of people forget about that so they're like oh there's No way. We haven't found a Bigfoot.

22:30 Oh, absolutely. There is. There's hundreds and thousands of species of animals that are probably so highly. Who knows if they're still the ones that they found on extinct animals. Yeah, that are not an extinct extinct animals not, I think sorry, but you know what I mean? Like they find all this stuff. It's like, we have so much land as not been even touched all across the world. So it's like, who Whoa, was what the hell is out there? It's just like the universe and I'm going to go into a rebel holes on me when I go to yes that's one of the show. You gotta do what you gotta do. That's what we do here. No I'm just I have a I am terrified of the ocean because I'm much too many just like plastic. You do not get a follicle and lasted. Nice.

Did that Whatchamacallit? Did that camping trip and Dinky Creek, California, and that kind of sealed. The deal for me, I found the footprint, I heard the tree knocks, I heard the yelling, all this sort of stuff. One that I was with that was, you know, some of them are really big into Bigfoot and stuff. I mean, they couldn't shut up about it. It was just like that kind of sealed it for me and it's just like, all right. Well the next step is to, you know, actually see one which according to Jeremy is depending on in what location. And what activity they're involved in, it could be pretty horrifying but you know it's like it's not a big deal for me. It has no impact on my faith and just like wow God made another interesting animal like okay cool sounds good to me you know it's like it has Thing to do with with that at all. But it's just like you sure, created a, not some scientific experiment but the government I would say because of the neighborhood and lure that that's most likely not. Yeah, because it goes back to.

Look at the Bishopville Lizard, Man Down in the Carolinas, that could definitely be some kind of government experiment, gone wrong, the Beast of Busco, which is out in Indiana, which is a gigantic fucking Turtle. We Katie asked the question because we were talking about Bigfoot and And the sounds that were in the video that they sent us and she asked the question, is another thing that Bigfoot is known to mimic sounds of other creatures and it's true. It is absolutely true. This is something that that has been a fear Theory. I would say Theory because because one of my really good friends. Jeffrey Fernandez, who is also a host, has this podcast will say without without a, without a specimen actually captured. We can't prove it, which is true, right? But there has been a lot of Research into the topic. And a lot of researchers that have found that Bigfoot, use a lot of bird calls a lot of whistles, a lot of clicks, a lot of slapping on trees.

37:34 And then yes, there has been some recordings of just like this really weird how that sounds like, it's trying to mimic a coyote, or a lot of diurnal bird calls at night, right? Where it's just like, why are why are we hearing this specific bird call at night? Right? And a lot of nocturnal bird calls like owl Hoots during the day and not necessarily on point. You're like wow, that's either a really sick bird or, you know, that's just a one-off time. Where this thing has a cold and now it's hooting in the middle of day or its Bigfoot, trying to mimic, and do its thing.

38:15 You know, we've gone into a couple times here on the show about how Bigfoot have these communities that they, that they surround right? You have The females and the children and the middle. And then you have these stationary kind of big Burly, males out standing guard. I mean if anybody that served in the military knows about standing watch or guard can't even say that ever again Watch how dare you. I'm also ate Jake now and how they'll communicate? With different kinds of animal calls. So yes you know.

You know, if you're getting those kind of Screams, you're going to be getting something, something's going through there, I'd be interested to see if around the same time, frame with the year, they're around there because you know, there's a lot of people No. No, I didn't think about that. Oh yeah. And it's like especially like for summertime and that's when we see that would be interested to know.

They don't like cold unless you're talking about Regional variants such as the Swamp ape or the woodbooger, you know, definitely pay attention Unity. I mean, you'd think about how many times do you see a brown bear? Like don't mean those things are very secluded, right? You don't ever see a brown bear like very but what you have is pretty rare.

If you think with your circumstance, they are migrating with the blueberries, right? Yes. And that's one thing that I found out, because I had my experience in the spring in Northern New England. And it just happened to be that the Team time that I was there was the same as that time, that, that state was going through its blueberry blue. And, you know, you get the Bears and everything will come out, get the blueberries and apparently soda Sasquatches. So the bigfoots so, you know, that's something that I would be interested for you guys.

We're not going to work on this like a program. And then, there was this Air Force guy, that was driving down the road.

47:34 He heard a girl scream come from that abandoned Hotel area and he called authorities. He's everything. And he picked by the local authorities. Brought back to the base, had his car towed to the base and was told never gonna see again. So when we go over there, we stores from the on the base, everything and we're like, okay, let's take a look at this area. So we ended up driving up their product like 9:30 10:00 at night, and we had a hop, a chain-link fence. We were walking in. We missed anything in here, anything. And then, when we were in there, we her heard a little girl, like a noise, a little girl would make So we're like okay this is really weird a couple hours ago, I didn't hear anything else like that. So we're like, okay, let's head back. Let's go back to base or whatever. So as we were walking this road, it was like a windy road and there was a tree, limb hangover off the side of the road. I was the second-to-last first in line and find me and him and I both heard something running up behind us and then stop. He Um's on me, I turn around and we don't see anything, but we look up the road and that this tree branch. There's two legs standing on the opposite side like tentacles, just like straddling the tree branch so we can to sit there for a little bit but they and

49:07 then all of a sudden it just disappears and then we double time very much out of that whole entire little area. Just like a military member. You hear about some crazy demonic stuff. It was stuff up the road and let's do it. Let's go. No, I don't know much about paranormal stuff when it comes down to ghosts and spirits and everything, that's something that we lacked here on the show that we just didn't have anybody really specializing in, so we didn't cover it very much. But from what I do know that the And of Japan has quite a bit of some, some paranormal experiences.

But when you get down up to like Okie Gaara, which is the suicide forest, it's about, you know that it's. But I think that's like almost a day or two days. Worth of travel by car, you know, it's a pretty long trip from Okinawa if you were to go straight through. I think it's about two day trip. When you get up there into the hills, you know, because okay got Hora surrounds, a an old volcano and the ground itself is actually all volcanic Stone and the trees that grow out of it. Ed or a door or Joy goes into the head that shares a door with the other bedroom and then you walk around and then you can like get into the actual room. So the night the happened, I had locked on my doors, I was getting ready to hit the sack and as I was laying down, I heard my door open, but I was like the doors locked, so I set up the door was still locked. And then the way boss like my thick pen around a wall, that was by the sea. And then I felt something grab my foot. After I had checked the door and everything, I felt something grab my foot and kind of start trying to pull me down around the bed.

So I set up again and nothing was going on and there was nobody in the room, I had door was locked, my front door was locked and then I lay down again and then all of a sudden I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe. I couldn't scream or anything. And I opened my eyes. There was something sitting on my chest and I was screaming for the person next door to come into the bedroom, but I couldn't say anything. And then all of a sudden, I broke out and I was able to yell and he came banging on that head door to see what was going on and it was nuts. How it went on, you were sleeping on your back. Double slip out the back. Yeah. Oh man. So there's like three or four common experiences when it comes to sleep.

55:30 Paralysis. Just put a little bit of information out there for those that are listening. If you haven't listened, to the old sleep paralysis episode that we did, one of the most common experiences is the old hag. And that is, that's what you experienced, you know, you feel that pressure on your chest and also you look and there's this black, almost hazy looking thing sitting on your chest and you can feel it, you can feel it sitting on your chest. It's called the old hag. It goes by other names in other cultures but if ADI out there wants to do more research on to it. That's what you want to look at you. Want to look at the old hag phenomenon. Very, very cool.

56:11 So is It's like is that an outer-body experience? No, sleep paralysis is completely inner body experience there. There is a lot of outer body experiences that you can have during sleep such as astral projection or a kind of a mixture of the two, which is lucid dreaming, you can I do. Yeah, technically, you're still inner body but you can go anywhere within your dream world. Now, sleep paralysis is Lee internal, sometimes. One of the experiences from sleep paralysis, you kind of feel like you're floating and you're floating up towards your ceiling.

Okay, a lot more than what I just explained when it comes to out-of-body experiences while you're sleeping too. So that is just as I was getting the kids ready for a shower. But anyways, right? To, I've had two weird experiences to life where I don't know if it was Iowa's in like super deep Grim sleep. And when was that car? And it fell asleep, so hard to where I remember me seeing my mom because this is when I was little and not driving, she was banging on the window because went to McDonald's to get food when we're on vacation, she was banging on the window so hard.

57:43 And I was trying to say something like, scream and yell, like I couldn't open the door and then all the sudden like all of a sudden I get this and I wake up and then happen, pretty much twice. The second time it happened, I saw myself having a seizure on my bed or my floor, whichever one it was and then something woke me up. I don't know exactly what woke me up, but something woke me up. Which was a and those are the only two that the seizure one is a common experience. That is definitely a very common out-of-body experience that a lot of people experience during a seizures. I mean, it's not as common as like, you know, one out of 10. I'd say, more of one, out of 51 out of 100 people who experienced seizures.
