A new theoretical study out of Goethe University just proposed that when a massive star collapses, it might not form a black hole at all. Instead, the collapse could trigger the birth of a tiny new universe inside the dying star — driven by dark energy, expanding outward against gravity — creating a stable object called a gravastar. No singularity. No event horizon. Just a universe being born where a black hole should have been. This is either a footnote or a total rewrite of what we think we know about stellar collapse.
