Jake had a Geiger counter sitting in his truck — originally for UFO research at Elmwood — so when Jeremy came in with uranium glass he'd just picked up at a local antique shop, they had to try it. Placed the counter right against the glass and sure enough, it started ticking. The glass glows neon green under a UV black light too. Production of uranium glass dropped off hard after the Manhattan Project, because the government pulled the uranium supply — so most pieces you find at antique shops are from the 1950s or earlier. Completely safe to own. Just weird and cool.
