The Kecksburg UFO
On December 9, 1965 a huge fireball streaked a path through the early evening sky from Canada to Pennsylvania that left thousands of people questioning, “What the hell was that”?
Traveling at speeds of over a thousand miles per hour. Witnesses from the ground claimed to hear a sonic boom as the object broke the sound barrier and pilots told stories of the aftershock they felt as it passed by. The strangest thing of all wasn't the speed, or the sounds and vibrations it radiated. But rather that it apparently turned off of its Southeastern heading, breaking dead East before turning to the South, then eventually shifting to the Northeast before it completed its journey in the woods of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
