What was the last episode you did here with us? It's got to be like a good two to three years at this point, man, do you think? Was it The Simpsons time travel? Yeah. Is that the last one? If it wasn't that one, it was like just after, so it's pretty close. Dang man, it's been a while, huh? I I've done you dirty. Well, we've gone through a lot of transitions, a lot of changes since then and here. We are dirty. Yeah, so Phantom Phil is the host of the Unexplained Ink podcast. Good friend of the Infinite Rabbit Hole. Good friend from pretty damn close to the beginning of the show.

Don't know if anybody's listening to this knows who that is, but he was a guy that was part of the Infinite Rabble podcast and then he just disappeared. I haven't talked to him in forever. 8:50 Same. Yeah. Anyways, so a lot of changes going on over there at Unexplained Inc. What you want to take us through some of the some of the the stuff that's going on over there? Some of the changes since we've last connected. Yeah, absolutely. Before I get into that, though, I'm so happy for you guys with your upcoming 200th episode. My 200th episode will be on April 11th, 2025. And the reason I bring that up is I just confirmed to the guest for that episode this past week and it's yeah. And it's going to be a live stream in one way or another. I don't know how I'm going to do it yet, but I'll just say this, I'm not going to give away who it is, but it is someone who is quite local to me.

9:40 So Southern Ontario, Canada, who has a rather wide international following in this field of the fringe, in the unexplained. So that's all I'm going to say for now. More details to come later. And the five year anniversary of the show will be taking place at the end of March. That is just going to take place right now. But Jeremy, do you want me to get into some of the overall changes that I've gone through with the show? Yeah, real quick though, I just want to put out Jake messaged me. He's not he's obviously not feeling good. He sounds like shit today, but he wanted to make sure, you know, he got it and be able to say hi to you, Phil. So Jeff or Jake bounced for the night. But yeah, absolutely.

10:22 Man. Let's let's hear some of these changes. I want to hear because I, I want to hear about this, this alter ego that you got too. Oh yeah, yeah. So anyway, peace out, Jake. Hope you're feeling better soon and we'll reconnect soon. It's a shame you couldn't be here. So I was doing 12 episode seasons for about 3 cycles. And the reason I did that, that started in April of 2022 because I was approaching burnout and stagnation and I just changed something. So I thought, why not do these 12 episode seasons with a theme? And it worked out really well for a while. The problem was is that I started killing my own momentum. I would get to a peak at the end of the season, and then by the time I ramped up the following season, which would be like two to three months later, I'd have to start from scratch all over again.

11:12 And then I started to realize, why am I doing this? Like I'm at the point where I can make my workflow continuous. So Easter weekend of this year at the end of March I came back with an assortment of solo episodes and I was very very very close to gaining a Co host. Unfortunately that whole arrangement fell off of a Cliff. So it all came back on to me and it's still me to this day. So I'll just quickly break down the solo episodes. Then my alter ego, I started an hour long episode check called The Consciousness Cafe. It goes a little bit outside of the unexplained incorporated paradigm. So I have on counselors, healers, spiritual people that I can talk to without tying it in all of the unexplained phenomenon necessarily.

12:02 And that's what CJ did at the end of November. And yeah, and I have The Great Escape, which was like kind of like a motivational speaking solo series I did. And to geek out on things I can't normally geek out on. However, it's evolved into a chapter by chapter novel and I don't know when it's going to end. And it has an overriding theme about just trying to escape from the craziness of this modern world for as much as we can. And the other one you might find this really needs. Serendipitously, at the end of 2023, I learned a little bit on how astral project. What?

12:45 Yeah. Yeah. Now I am by no means an expert and I'm still learning, but I hooked up with a guest on the show who took me through some training, showed me a ritual on how to do it. So I've made some progress with it but I can't do it like with these. So I started something called the Astral report and I thought this would be really cool to do solo episodes on my astral projection, but it might be kind of chaotic and random. And then I decided back in the spring, why don't I project back to famous unexplained events like UFO clashes and stuff like that. So I've done two of them so far. I was going to do a third one this month, but I have to bump it into January.

13:31 Those episodes are very, they're shorter and they're very raw. A lot of it's me recording into my phone. And I do say it's for entertainment purposes only because I'm not trying to say I know history or I know the answers to unsolved mysteries. I'm just reporting what I'm seeing and you jump to your own conclusions. It's like a like a docudrama kind of thing. What do you mean by docudrama? I just want to make sure I answer that properly. So it's like a documentary with a skit. Yeah, but the skit is based on an actual experience I had international. It's not, it's not quote UN quote fiction. It's what I'm perceiving as my experience. Like for example, the first one I did was the first reported American UFO crash in rural Missouri that happened before Roswell, like a good six years before Roswell.

14:23 Is that the one with the screens? I don't. Think that's, Well, no, and I hold on. I'll pull it up on my browser here. But while I'm doing that, I'll just quickly explain my alter ego. So as you well know, I like to dabble into conspiracies like Mr. Jeff and maybe to a lesser extent you and Jake, but I'm not really a conspiracy podcast. And Jeff, why do you look so shocked? He doesn't. Like conspiracies. I'm follow all the narratives my friend. What do you mean? You're just such a normie, aren't you? He's getting CNN tattooed on his nipples. I am. CNN and ABC, right?

15:05 My alter ego. Long story how this came to be so I won't get into it right now, but I decided to tackle some of the darker conspiratorial topics. I was going to come up with an alter ego based on my own shadow, my dark half, and I'm making him as arrogant and as obnoxious as you possibly can. So basically the things we don't like and we stand for this alter ego stands for. Like he wants singularity, he wants people to be dependent on the system and to get sick. He wants never ending war. And I feel like when trying to teach people about some of these darker topics, you have to inject a bit of absurd humor into it. And alongside that, I started going from audio only episodes to video streams as well.

16:00 And now my video episodes are available on Rumble and the return of this alter ego Phantom Bill Fortune will be in mid January, not too long after the presidential inauguration. And I'm going to have ton of material to work with. Interesting. How's that working out? It's been interesting so far that's been positive. There may be some people I've lost who may have taken it too literally or they just don't get it, but the overall feedback has been positive. And the first one I did was at a skit at a local metaphysical shop that I know, and they rented their basement out to do it.

16:41 And then there's one more episode I just recorded here in my home studio with the unexplained backdrop, but I got in full regalia. I was quite surprised at how quickly I got into the character. So I also want to say I am not responsible for what that character says and does. He's got his own ego, he's got his own mind. So if he says something you don't like, it's all in him, in his container. Don't take that on me. So let's, let's play around with this a little bit. So you, you got yourself and you got your alter ego. How do you, how do you Phantom Phil, feel about the UFO stuff going on right now in the US Congress? It's interesting, my latest episode, I got into this discussion a little bit, got into it a little bit with CJ at the end of November, but you know, it didn't go that far. Now, this guest who I had on my show recently, Karen Holton, she is a, what I would call the full-fledged contactee on many levels.

17:42 And her and I kind of both are in agreement right now that a lot of what's going on might be a misdirection or covering some type of a hidden agenda. What exactly we do not know, but it's just so bizarre that there's this level of acceptance in government institutions and in the mainstream now, whereas a couple of decades ago or even less like this would never be brought up. So it just has this going. What's really going on here or what is the setting up for? That's pretty much where we're at right now. Yeah. What are they distracting us from? That's what I'm that's like my biggest question usually is like what, what else is going on or what's really going on? This is not, it can't be disclosure. There's no way.

18:29 I don't believe it. Yeah, I have a hopeful heart. Hi. I wanted I, I want this to be disclosure so bad. Like I really do. I want to be alive for when, you know, when this stuff finally takes off. Well, I think there's a difference between hopeful and belief, right? Like, you know, sure, I'm hopeful that it is disclosure, but I don't believe that it is. So Phil, what does the what does the alter ego believe? Well, the alter ego, he wants you to believe whatever narratives are out there. He doesn't want you to question anything. And it's interesting because the alter ego will likely talk about this in the January episode, so I'm not going to.

19:14 Fool. You right now, however, the alter ego wants you to trust whatever is said and don't question anything. And he's also not shy about putting his own interests and out there and throwing them in your face. Yeah, that's that's likely his take on it. I before we move on, I have an announcement to make. But at the same time, he does cover a lot of the similar topics as we do, such as kryptids and UFOs and aliens and and all that good stuff. One other thing, Jeremy, you hit the nail on the head with what the show was really all about.

23:08 But one thing that is increased is I'm getting into quite a bit of discussion of psychedelic use. And some of this is some of this is based on my own experience and the experiences of my guest. And the December 27th show goes heavily into that. So if you're interested in that, that's one to check out. My most recent episode, December 6th with Karen Holton of Quantum Guides and Aliens and Angels, that's another really fun 11 I'll throw out there. This was the first full video episode I did after the Phantom Phil Fortune premiere. I got connected with a medical doctor out of Australia named Clayton Spencer, and he was really fascinating because he's letting me know that Sydney, Australia, at least the clinics he's associated with, are legally prescribing psilocybin to psychic patients down there.

24:07 And he's a big part of that. And he's had his own dealings with that in ayahuasca, and he couldn't get into too much on the air because he is still a licensed practicing physician. And he could, he says too much. But what really fascinated me was at the same time. And they didn't even know this until we started recording together because for whatever reason, the prep was minimal and his background was minimal. He's a shaman who's been to shamanic tribes and initiations all around the world. And he researches cryptids. And I'm finding this out in the middle of the interview, and he's telling me about cryptids in like, Ireland and Australia and the UK. And it was just an episode that really snowballed into something I wasn't expecting.

24:56 And I think it's a really good representation of where the show was at as well. And another thing we touched upon was from a shamanic perspective, the transition of passing over into death and the why it shouldn't be feared. So like like you guys, I'd like to have fun on the show once in a while, but it can also get extremely deep and profound as well. It depends on where the conversation goes. So those would be good episodes to check out if you're new to this and they do first few. Well, all right, so I got a ton of stuff we could talk about right now, including last week. We went through an exercise here on the show and the chat went nuts and we got a lot of people involved there. So we may end up having to visit that again, Jeff, if you're down.

Let's talk about the psychedelics really quick because this is something I've been researching very heavily lately because like I said, our 200th episode, which we'll be recording in two weeks from today, we're going to be doing the Stoned Ape Theory, which is Terrace. What? Kind of like a little teaser conversation about that bro right now. Man, I wish, I wish, I mean we could talk about it a little bit, right. OK, so for those that are in the know, because this this episode's gonna be coming out after the the 200th episode anyways, this episode's I don't think this episode's gonna drop until late January, honestly. Hey, if you're in the chat live, man, you get the, you get the real benefits, man, you get the Denny's. That's right.

26:28 This is this is something that you only hear right here, right now. By the time the rest of the world hears it, it'll already been spoiled. But basically the stone ape theory is Terence Mckenna's theory. He passed away a while ago, but he had this amazing theory that the human intelligence evolved extremely fast in a span of about 3,000,000 years due to us coming out of the trees and hitting the the grasslands of the Savannah, which is, you know, what's commonly referred to as the Savannah hypothesis, which is something that we also covered in the aquatic ape theory episode a little while back. Actually at the beginning of 2024, we covered it. But where he adds to that particular hypothesis is when we came out of the trees, we started walking upright, We came across feces all over the grasslands by grass grazing herbivores like cows and ogulates and you know, hooved animals, which creates a stool or feces. That is the perfect growing material for psilocybin laced mushrooms.

27:52 And in a physical adaption or evolution, depending on what term you like to use, that took a million years to grow our cranium three times the size grew our our cranial capacity three times the size. That same change in the same period of time is seen over a multitude of different species, but with a sliver of a fraction of a size increase, meaning like .2% where we literally had our craniums grow three times bigger in the same time frame. So basically the the mushroom, the psilocybin is the key that helped us become.

28:35 Yes. Self aware, intelligent, conscious, like whatever however you want to. Yeah, it all lines up. It lines up perfectly well, you know, when you when you look at the the time frame from when we came out of the trees and the receding of the the African rainforest and the need to get out of the trees. And then you look at the the bovine in the ancient bovines that existed back then and how their diet relates to the diet of bovines and ogulates that share this the African Savannah now and how they're diet would have created a feces that is very, very similar to the one that is created now. And how psilocybin mushrooms still grow to this day on poop all over Africa. I mean all over the world, really, even here in America, none of.

29:19 That, but like basically the entire Earth is a giant network, a giant web of you know, like mycelium and yeah, yeah, mushrooms. The Earth is a mushroom essentially, right? So, well, yeah, it's crazy. And then you then you get into like panspermia and shit like that and it's like, you know is. Panspermia's wild. Yeah, you get into the idea is the spore the the intelligence that's being boot across the the cosmos, right, Yeah. Well, so for anybody who doesn't know what the term panspermia means, it means that living organisms traveled on most likely like a comet or asteroid or meteor landed on the planet or some sort of spatial debris from another planet from a collision and landed here on on Earth.

30:10 And those organisms most likely bacteria at the time because we know that like. Or in this space, spores. Spores right? Because we know tardigrades can can survive out in the the vacuum of space, but basically they hitched a ride, landed on Earth and grew from there, which we have evidence of this happening from Mars. By the way, we have evidence of Mars based rocks here on Earth, so we know that transpermia, yeah. That's because they those rocks are from Greenland. They're not from Mars, but that's another fucking story. That is a whole another fucking story. Anyways, so when you when you get into psilocybin mushrooms and how the the changes in the human intelligence took place and you look at the, you know, the three big things that happened, one, we started standing upright and we became more evasive. We became smarter and our hunting 2, we fucked like rabbits and our population just exploded. And three, we created culture and religion. So if you look at the three, the way Terence Mcgyana broke it down in his book Food of the Gods, is that there's basically 3 levels of dosing yourself with psilocybin or a psychedelic like materials like peyote or whatever it's called, right? LSD, Peyote, LSD.

31:30 Take your pick, right? First, the first one is. The first one's a micro dose, right? And in micro doses or batches, you can increase your senses. And there's actually a lot of tests that have been done where people can spot subtle changes in advanced artworks and, or in advanced situations where it's like, OK, find the one long piece of hair in this pile of hair. And and and people who were given LSD can find in small doses by the way, can find that called the. Hyper awareness, right? That's what I've experienced on this is that on low doses of of pretty much any psychedelic, you become hyper aware almost as if a filter has been removed from reality. And you can just notice things on a not a microscopic level. But you can definitely notice things on on a much smaller and like more tuned in level than you can normally on on lower doses of so psychedelic.

32:27 The way that Terence would kind of explain that was this could be the reason why we became like, why we were able to outrun our predators, why we were able to outsmart our prey. Hunting. Yeah, where we were. Small tools and like arrowheads and. Yeah. You know, all this stuff starts coming together and then the middle dosage, right, which I can't remember what he called it, but I have it in, in the presentation. Basically this, it increases your sexual arousal, right? It is, it makes you want to fuck and it makes you want to fuck everything. So basically when you, when you look at the, the population boom around the exact same time as you know, when we got came out of trees and discovered the psilocybin mushrooms attached to cattle shit and on the African Savannah, you, you see the corresponding population boom. OK, which is a side effect of a medium dose of psychedelic drugs.

33:21 Then when you do a high dose or macro dose, then you start getting or hallucinating. But it's not just visual hallucinations. It's also hallucinations that attack and send signals to all five of your senses. Every single one of. Those. Yeah, the heroic dose, right? So they say that the heroic dose is what gave birth to things like religion, culture, maybe even language where they were speaking to each other with an open mind and the psychedelic realm of psilocybin shit covered mushrooms. I've literally had what I could only equate to like spiritual like profoundly spiritual experiences on on high doses of certain psychedelics before.

I've always thought to myself that if, you know, I live 1000 or 10, but yeah, if I lived 1000 or 10,000 years ago and I had those experiences that I had, that I, there's no other way that I could have explained that then with some deity or some whatever, right, Some higher being. And you probably would have been like, you won't believe what I witnessed everyone for I know. Absolutely, Absolutely. But it is crazy. But you start, you know, you think about this kind of stuff and, and the amount of knowledge or perceived knowledge that they could have been receiving from this. Terence McKenna says that this could easily have been one of the very first stages of a human culture where generation after generation after generation started getting into these psychedelic mushrooms because they were giving them great religious wisdom or experiences that they they could not get without the help of of the psilocybin mushrooms.

35:08 And then not only that, but then you have like more recent studies where they're showing that psilocybin and MDMA and a few others are actually like rewiring neural pathways, right? So they're doing things like right now they're using it clinically for things like curing addictions, helping with like anxiety and depression and these types of things because it's like remapping the brain. Literally, dude, there's, you know, you imagine going back a million years and you have these ancient humans eating this like on a regular basis, like what that would be doing to the mapping of the. Development brain and like there's no, there's no dose calculator, they're just consuming what.

And I've been talking about that a lot on the show. Whatever negative baggage and shadows you're carrying, those will come at you full force with psychedelic congestion. But if you get rid of most of it, odds are, and it's different for everybody, odds are your trip will be magical and beautiful.

You have plants and Animalia, and then you have the fungal Kingdom. We actually share more in common with fungus and mushrooms than we do with plants. And at some point down, down the road, it's, it's not proven, but it's conceivable or perceivable that we may have even evolved from the same line when we ourselves could be potentially a type of fungus or an evolved form of fungus. And right around that time, she told me she was starting online training for this form of hypnotherapy. And I was really interested.
